For those who are concerned about the poor funding of honeybee research in Britain there is a petition being run to urge the Government to increase research expenditure. Without this increase our bees will continue to be at risk of succumbing to existing and new pests and diseases which are evident in other countries such as the USA. We all know that bees are vital to both the economy and the environment and are in need of realistic levels of support.
